Nut Types and Standards
- DIN 934 / UNI 5588 / ISO 4032: Medium hex nuts, ideal for general applications; available in various strength classes and often paired with standard bolts.
- DIN 936 / UNI 5589 / ISO 4035: Low hex nuts, compact and strong, used where reduced height is needed without compromising strength.
- DIN 982 / UNI 7473 and DIN 985 / UNI 7474: Self-locking nuts with nylon insert, designed to prevent loosening under vibrations.
- DIN 980V: All-metal self-locking hex nuts, without nylon insert, suitable for high temperatures or extreme conditions.
- UNI 5587 / ISO 4033: High hex nuts, used when additional height is required for strength or technical needs.
- DIN 6334 / UNI 5535: Coupling nuts, used with threaded rods or where extra nut length is needed for a secure grip.
